The symptoms and signs of swine flu are almost like any other flu or the seasonal influenza and are distinguished as throat soreness, high Fever ( above 100.4° F),cough, mild to severe, mild to moderate headache, body ache, chills, vomiting and diarrea.
Like other flu’s swine flu mostly affect the nose, part of the mouth at the throat, throat and the tubes that leads into the lungs all that includes the upper respiratory tract. Indicators such as cough and sore throat vary in severity depending upon the resisting power of an individual. Those like children, older adults and individuals with underlying medical disorders are more prone to severe symptoms as their ability to reduce such symptoms are weakened.
Symptoms that are typical of swine flu include nausea and diarrhea (loose, watery stools)
In those individuals where their resistance is very poor, these symptoms and signs may be of high severity and may lead to death if untreated.

Symptoms of Severe Swine Flu
The above discussed signs and symptoms may become evident within 1 to 2 days after being infected by the H1N1 influenza virus and can last for a week or 10 days. It’s also found that those individuals who are healthy swine flu virus collapses by itself with or without any treatment within a period of 10 days. Yet, an infected individual can spread the infection anytime during these 10 days and therefore must avoid close contact with others.

- Breathing difficulty
- Pain or pressure in the chest
- Abrupt dizziness
- Confusion
- Vomiting severely or continuously
